Full Job Description
As a Senior Executive Equity Compensation Consultant on Empower's Equity Stock Plan Services team, you will act as a dedicated partner to C-suite and senior executives, delivering expert guidance, personalized education, and strategic support across all aspects of executive equity compensation. You will provide concierge-level service and serve as a trusted liaison between executives and Empower's Personal Wealth and Executive Services teams. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, discretion, and relationship management skills to build long-term partnerships and enhance the overall shareholder experience. The core business hours for the Equity Stock Plan Services team are 8am - 8pm EST. Candidates must be able to work between those hours. What you will do • Serve as the primary relationship manager for a defined group of C-suite and senior executive clients, delivering personalized and proactive equity support • Educate executives on equity compensation programs including RSUs, stock options, PSUs, SARs, and performance awards • Provide expert-level consultation on 10b5-1 trading plans, insider trading windows, and related SEC compliance requirements • Coordinate with Empower's Executive Services and Personal Wealth teams to align equity and financial planning strategies • Translate complex equity and tax concepts into actionable insights that align with executive financial goals • Proactively conduct outreach based on vesting schedules, life events, and diversification opportunities • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of SEC regulations, corporate policies, and internal governance standards • Identify advanced planning opportunities related to diversification, charitable gifting, and estate planning • Mentor peers and contribute to team education around executive-level equity and compliance best practices • Collaborate across teams to improve the executive client experience and refine Empower's service delivery model What you will bring • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • FINRA Series 7 and 63/65 required; FINRA fingerprinting required • Certified Equity Professional (CEP®) Level 1 required; full CEP® designation strongly preferred • 5-7 years of experience in equity compensation, executive services, or wealth management supporting high-level clients • Deep understanding of executive equity compensation plans, Rule 10b5-1 trading, and insider trading compliance • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to engage executive audiences • Demonstrated success in proactive client relationship management and consultative service delivery • Proficiency with CRM systems, stock plan platforms, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining precision, professionalism, and confidentiality • Growth-oriented mindset with adaptability to changing business needs and service models What will set you apart • Proven success in providing executive-level financial consultation and education • Experience managing 10b5-1 plans and coordinating insider filings with legal and compliance teams • Ability to influence internal and external partners through professionalism and strategic insight • History of collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop holistic financial strategies • Demonstrated skill simplifying complex equity and tax topics for high-level stakeholders • Proven ability to mentor colleagues and enhance knowledge sharing across departments • Track record of identifying and executing process improvements in executive servicing workflows • Commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences that reflect Empower's culture of excellence • Strong ethical standards, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive financial information #LI-Remote #PJPW What we offer you We offer an array of diverse and inclusive benefits regardless of where you are in your career. BRGs are open to all. Base Salary Range $105,700.00 - $149,275.00 The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
