Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed all-source analysis of global radar signals using electronic intelligence data.
  • Develop parametric and algorithmic characterizations of radar signals, including scan patterns and pulse characteristics.
  • Populate the EWIRDB with parametric and algorithmic data following APGTE standards.
  • Resolve quality control issues identified by the SERF manager.
  • Provide technical inputs for the review and revision of EWIRDB standards within the PMO.
  • Coordinate with government analysts and signal experts to enhance collaborative efforts.
  • Support Intelligence Mission Data activities and participate in EWIR conferences and ad-hoc meetings.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level all-source analysts, fostering team development.

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sr. EWIRDB Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to perform detailed all-source analysis of signals emitted by the most advanced air defense systems in the world. Your work will directly impact the survivability and effectiveness of all US aircraft and missions.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Performing all-source analysis of world-wide radar signals. Working with electronic intelligence data sources

  • Developing parametric and algorithmic characterizations of designated radar signals. Developed parameters and algorithms include scan patterns definitions, waveform selection algorithms, pulse characteristics, pulse repetition intervals, transmitter characteristics, effective radiated power, antenna characteristics, radio frequency, antenna patterns, and overall radar performance descriptions

  • Populating the EWIRDB with signal data parametric and algorithmic characterizations. Characterizations may be at the Tier I, II, or III levels. Parametric and algorithmic entries into EWIR are made according to the APGTE standards and using the SERF manager

  • Resolving technical quality control issues identified by the SERF manager

  • Providing technical inputs to support the EWIRDB Program Management Office (PMO) efforts to review and revise the EWIRDB standards development process

  • Coordinating with government all-source analysts and signal experts

  • Supporting Intelligence Mission Data activities and EWIR conferences and adhoc meetings

  • Collaborating within a team and mentoring junior/mid-level all-source analysts

Required Clearance:

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Candidate must have an active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply military standards (MIL-STD) and specifications, ensuring program deliverables and technical solutions are fully compliant with DoD requirements

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00
