We are seeking a Senior Engineer, ERP Platform to own the hands-on design, build, and support of our NetSuite ERP environment. This role sits at the intersection of business process and technical execution, working closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Technology stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, well-architected NetSuite solutions. You will report to the Staff Engineering Manager, ERP Platform and work out of our Santa Ana, CA or Jersey City, NJ location. Hybrid candidates will also be considered; this will be discussed further during the recruiting process. Remote or hybrid candidates will also be considered. We believe that there is significant value in in-person collaboration. If you live within a 1 hour commuting distance to one of our offices, you will be required to be onsite most of the time. This will be discussed further as part of the recruiting process.
What You'll Do:- Technical Ownership: Own the day-to-day architecture, configuration, and customization of our NetSuite instance across Financials, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Inventory, Order Management, Fixed Assets, Advanced Revenue Management, WMS, and CRM, ensuring the platform is scalable, performant, and built on sound technical foundations.
- Configuration & Customization: Design and implement customizations using SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder, and build and maintain advanced saved searches, dashboards, and reports that improve visibility and support decision-making.
- Integration: Lead and support integration efforts between NetSuite and adjacent systems, including Salesforce, payment gateways, e-commerce/marketplace platforms, shipping and logistics platforms, and data warehouse or analytics tools (e.g., BigQuery, AWS, Lightdash), using middleware and custom solutions as needed.
- System Management & Maintenance: Continuously optimize and maintain the NetSuite platform to ensure data integrity, security, and top performance; execute regular audits and system updates, and manage data cleansing and standardization.
- User Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for NetSuite-related support within the business, addressing functional and technical inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and creating and maintaining user documentation and training materials.
- Business Partnership: Partner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Technology to analyze processes, gather requirements, and translate business objectives into scoped, buildable NetSuite solutions, documenting workflows and system changes along the way.
- Data Management & Reporting: Oversee data imports/exports and migrations, ensure data accuracy across modules, maintain compliance with data governance standards, and develop KPIs and operational reports that help stakeholders track performance.
Who You Are:- 5+ years of experience as a NetSuite Consultant, Business Analyst, or in a similar ERP-focused engineering role.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- NetSuite certifications (Administrator, ERP Consultant) preferred.
- Proven track record supporting and enhancing NetSuite ERP in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of core business processes across Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Inventory, and Order Management.
- Hands-on proficiency with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and data management tools for NetSuite.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to move fluidly between technical detail and business-level conversations, and to train and support users at various skill levels.
- Detail-oriented and thorough in system management, process documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and experience collaborating with technical teams.
Salary Range:The salary range for this position is $140,000-$200,000. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
