Overview

Are you a passionate about environmental stewardship? As the Senior Environmental Specialist, you will provide technical input on environmental monitoring and design or construction methods to ensure compliance with environmental specifications or regulatory standards.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Audits, analyzes, and reports environmental performance to clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Advises design and construction teams on minimizing environmental impacts.
  • Manages subcontractors for specific environmental tasks.
  • Conducts impact assessments to mitigate environmental risks and costs.
  • Prepares environmental reports for supervisor and leadership review.
  • Raises awareness of emerging environmental issues across the organization and engages in environmental education and research.
  • Coordinates public hearings and consultations on environmental matters.
  • Trains staff on environmental responsibilities.


Who You Are

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or an environmental related field required.
  • Environmental certification preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience or training in environmental regulatory and construction industry compliance preferred.
  • CPESC Certification (CA QSP) preferred.
  • Knowledge of the local regulations or skill sets related to the specific work on project
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and new legislation
  • Technical writing and communication skills
  • Able to lead a team or project effort.
  • Able to manage subcontractors for project specific specialty environmental work.
