WSP's RPM team is one of the most established and exciting teams in Canada. The team consists of environmental technicians, project coordinators, project managers, technical experts, and qualified professionals. We have been providing contaminated site program management services to the worlds most technically focused companies for over 15 years. We consistently have backlog of 9 to 12 months and provide growth opportunities for our high performing team members. We specialize in health and safety, Phase I/II ESAs, risk assessment and remediation. Our team takes on the biggest Canadian projects from coast to coast to coast. The projects range in type, size and complexity, and the successful candidate will be able to utilize the team strengths to manage a large amount of field work efficiently and effectively.

WSP has a new opportunity for a Senior Environmental Project Manager to join our Remediation Program Management team. This new opportunity will require you to manage risk and closure of contaminated sites. You will design and oversee field work related to monitoring, investigating, and remediating contaminated sites impacted by hydrocarbons (diesel, gasoline crude oil etc.) fertilizers and metals, as well as prepare technical reports. It is expected that you are self-motivated and will demonstrate strong time management and communication skills.

  • Participate and be a member of a 10-20 person client-specific delivery team, while at the same time leveraging the experience and expertise of the entire RPM group.
  • Have a really complex technical issue? Engage with a Practice Area Network (PAN) who may have experienced the same issue in Australia, Malaysia, or even exotic locations like Saskatoon.
  • Lead some of the most interesting and technically challenging environmental projects in Western and Northern Canada.

  • Are a master of spreadsheets, attention to detail and coordination, not yet having met a challenge that cannot be solved with a well designed spreadsheet.
  • Following schedules are a must, and you take great pride in delivering on time.
  • All deliverables that pass through your desk are the best quality you have produced, only surpassed in quality by your next deliverable.
  • Have excellent communication skills and somehow find yourself the default person coordinating activities with your friends and family.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Have a professional designation.
  • 5 to 10 years experience in project management, environmental industry experience an asset.
  • Asset to have health and safety training related to the oil and gas industry.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $104,100 - $138,000

MB & ON: $95,000 - $130,800

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $94,100 - $124,900
