As a Senior Environmental Project Manager Compliance, you'll lead some of the region's most complex environmental assessment and regulatory permitting programs, guiding multidisciplinary teams, influencing strategic project outcomes, and helping clients navigate evolving regulatory landscapes with confidence. Your Impact
  • Lead large, complex environmental assessment and regulatory permitting programs from initiation through successful completion.
  • Direct multidisciplinary project teams, aligning technical, regulatory, commercial, and client objectives to achieve project success.
  • Develop and execute project governance, delivery, risk management, and stakeholder engagement strategies for major programs.
  • Build trusted relationships with executive-level clients, regulators, Indigenous communities, and key stakeholders.
  • Drive program financial performance through forecasting, revenue planning, margin optimization, and proactive commercial management.
  • Anticipate regulatory and project risks, providing strategic guidance and mitigation solutions that support informed decision-making.
  • Champion quality, safety, and delivery excellence while continuously improving project execution practices.
  • Mentor Project Managers and emerging leaders, strengthening team capability and supporting future growth.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Significant experience leading large-scale environmental assessment, permitting, and regulatory compliance programs in Alberta and Western Canada.
  • Deep knowledge of federal, provincial, and municipal regulatory frameworks, including emerging environmental and permitting requirements.
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), regulatory approvals, and integrated environmental planning assignments.
  • Strong ability to synthesize multidisciplinary technical information and translate it into practical regulatory strategies and client solutions.
  • Proven experience managing high-performing, distributed teams across multiple projects, offices, or regions.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence executive clients, regulators, and Indigenous communities.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including program-level financial oversight, forecasting, profitability management, and business development.
  • PMP designation or advanced project/program management training is considered a strong asset.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $122,900 - $162,800
MB & ON: $112,100 - $154,400
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $111,000 - $147,400
