Full Job Description
Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager with strong experience in environmental planning, NEPA documentation, FERC permitting, and infrastructure-related regulatory compliance.

This role may be based in Charlotte, NC, Pittsburgh, PA, Tampa, FL, Minneapolis, MN, Houston, TX, Columbus, OH.

Salary: Starting at 115K+

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of environmental consulting, ecological/cultural resource, permitting, and project management experience, with a strong background supporting pipeline, energy, transportation, or other large infrastructure projects. This position will manage environmental projects from early routing and siting through permitting, regulatory review, and construction compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead environmental planning, permitting, and compliance projects for large infrastructure and energy-related developments
  • Manage NEPA documentation, including EAs, EISs, and related regulatory deliverables
  • Support FERC permitting efforts, including 7(b), 7(c), prior notice, blanket authorization, and third-party EA/EIS processes
  • Oversee ecological, cultural resource, and environmental analysis activities across project phases
  • Coordinate with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies throughout the permitting and review process
  • Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, deliverables, client communication, and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Support routing, siting, environmental constraint analysis, and construction compliance planning
  • Review technical reports, permit applications, environmental documents, and regulatory submittals for accuracy and quality

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Planning, Cultural Resources, or a closely related field
  • 10+ years of experience in environmental planning, compliance, permitting, ecological/cultural resource surveys, or related project work
  • 5+ years of project management experience on complex environmental or infrastructure projects
  • Strong working knowledge of NEPA documentation and federal/state environmental regulatory requirements
  • Experience with FERC processes related to natural gas, pipeline, or energy infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with FERC 7(b), 7(c), prior notice, blanket authorization, and/or third-party EA/EIS documents preferred
  • Experience managing complex EIS or environmental review documents for infrastructure, transportation, large facility, land management, or energy projects
  • Established agency relationships and ability to coordinate effectively with regulators, clients, and technical teams
  • Strong writing, technical review, leadership, project management, and client-facing communication skills
