The Opportunity:


CACI’s Agile Solution Factory (ASF) is seeking a collaborative, self-starter to join our team. As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you will utilize Architecture Modeling tools to create architecture models for systems and networks, strictly adhering to the current version DoDAF and UAF frameworks. This position is a high visibility position within the team with frequent interaction with clients working on critical applications. Your customer service, teaming, and collaboration skills will enable improved data design within the cross-functional team.

The selected candidate for hire will serve as a Senior Enterprise Architect on a team within a team of Data and Enterprise Architects, government civilians and military. The ideal candidate should have expertise in software development to support Enterprise Architecture projects. You will have the opportunity to develop architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines. You will also advise on the feasibility of future projects to management for all phases of programs from inception to completion. Additionally, you’ll plan for technological application efforts for software applications to achieve long-range objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring that all assigned work activities are performed in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest quality and ensuring the goals and objectives of an initiative and the program are accomplished.

Responsibilities:

•    Maintain an architecture products inventory list.
•    Proficiency in strategic planning, enterprise architecture and emerging technologies.
•    Collaborates with end user-facing teams to define technology migration strategies and approaches.
•    Drives adoption and adherence of reference architectures and initiatives to replace tactical solutions with strategic solutions.
•    Provides guidance to end user-facing teams on enterprise activities, architecture issues and resolution definition.
•    Performs architecture reviews as required, ensuring initiatives are aligned with future state.
•    Advocates effective architectural designs and optimizes current architecture and processes.
•    Identify risks, opportunities, compliance issues or other architectural concerns.
•    Actively supports scalability, skill transfer and organizational change management by promoting visibility and real-life architecture representation.
•    Ensures that appropriate resources are brought to bear on complex production issues affecting enterprise applications.
•    Analyzing project-related problems and creating innovative solutions involving schedule, technologies, methodologies, tools, and solution components.
•    Ensure product quality and timeliness of efforts.
•    Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPT) sessions.

Qualifications:

Required: 

•    Must be a U.S. Citizen, with an active secret DoD security clearance.
•    College degree (B.S., M.S.) in Information Assurance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline. Experience will be considered in lieu of education.
•    Minimum of 7 years working as a Data Architect supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) G6.
•    Experience in the current version of the Department of Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) Enterprise Architecture conceptual modeling.
•    Strong understanding of the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).
•    Experience in enterprise application design patterns.
•    Experience in the agile management framework.
•    Understanding of key business drivers.
•    Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur, consistently following through on details while driving innovation as well as issue resolution.
•    Collaborate with Developers, Program Managers, Testers, and Production Support Engineers to implement innovative technical solutions via iterative approach, reducing time to delivery.
•    Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong written and verbal communication skills and work ethic; self-starter.
•    Work independently to expose and resolve problems.
•    Ability to integrate and work with Data Architects and Data Scientists.

Required Technical Skills:

•    Expert understanding of DoD industry standard DoDAF and UAF frameworks.
•    The model standard shall adhere to the DoDAF or UAF guidance. Currently the customer uses the automated software tool-Vantage, ARIS and Visio applications for diagrams drawing and their associated information recording.
•    Create, update, publish and archive Government-specified architecture viewpoints and models (both current and future) in accordance with DoDAF / UAF current version.
•    All necessary skills to successfully accomplish all tasks in the “Responsibilities” section.


Desired:


•    Practical experience in MS Azure, AWS, or similar cloud technologies related to software development utilizing the SaaS or PaaS models.
•    Technical Certifications such as Open Certified Architect, Zachman Certified Enterprise Architect, or other related technical certifications.
•    Experience using Cameo MagicDraw.
•    Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
•    Experience working on unusually complicated problems and providing solutions that are highly creative and ingenious, exhibiting creativity, and resourcefulness.
•    Periodically develop data which goes beyond existing boundaries of information in field.
•    Understanding of DISA STIG.
