Senior Engineering Consultant - Equity & BSA

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Consultant - Equity & BSA to provide senior technical and client leadership across commercial real estate due diligence and property consulting. This is a high-visibility role for an experienced professional who can lead complex PCA, Equity, and BSA assignments, serve as the primary technical contact for major clients, and provide technical direction to multidisciplinary teams.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and manage PCAs, Equity, and BSA projects, including complex commercial real estate due diligence assignments.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact and lead for regional and national clients.
  • Manage complex client programs and portfolios, including multi-site and national accounts.
  • Evaluate and provide technical guidance across key building systems, including roofing, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural, fire/life safety, and accessibility.
  • Review and interpret technical reports, property documentation, plans, specifications, and third-party assessments.
  • Develop project scopes, proposals, and technical approaches based on client needs, including Equity and BSA-specific deliverables.
  • Provide technical recommendations and communicate property risks, deficiencies, capital needs, and other findings to sophisticated real estate clients.
  • Apply ASTM E2018/PCA standards and industry best practices.
  • Lead, mentor, and direct technical professionals, including assessors, architects, engineers, project managers, and subcontractors.
  • Support business development and client growth through technical expertise and trusted client relationships.
  • Conduct site visits and provide technical oversight as needed.


What We're Looking For
  • 8+ years of experience performing or managing PCAs, Equity, and BSA projects. Candidates with 5+ years of highly relevant experience may be considered.
  • Experience must extend beyond field assessments into project leadership, technical review, client management, and/or consulting.
  • Proven experience serving as the primary technical contact for clients, ideally with regional or national accounts.
  • Experience developing project scopes and proposals based on client requirements, preferably involving Equity and BSA deliverables.
  • Strong independent knowledge of at least two major building systems, including roofing, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural, fire/life safety, or accessibility.
  • Experience leading or directing technical professionals, including assessors, architects, engineers, PMs, and subcontractors.
  • Strong commercial real estate due diligence, PCA, BSA, and technical consulting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered for candidates with a strong real estate development or technical Project Management background.
  • PE (Civil, Structural, or Mechanical), RA, ICC Certifications, or CRS credentials are preferred.
  • Strong technical writing, client communication, problem solving, and project management skills.
