Position: Sr. Engineer I, Software - Building ControlsLocation: Alpharetta, GA This Application Engineer is independent and decisive. They are highly skilled and an expert building automation system programmer. They are passionate about driving innovation in the field of building automation.
As an Application Engineer, a typical day for you might include: - Expertise in Tridium Niagara, Schneider Electric Ecostruxure Building operation system, Siemens Building automation system or Johnson Controls systems.
- Experience providing high quality programming per specifications, standards, budgets, and schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely with customers, contractors, engineers, and fellow team members
- Working as part of a team that is responsible for the programming, start-up, troubleshooting and commissioning of DDC building automation systems.
- Configuring, programming, and customizing control systems to meet project-specific needs.
- Creation of software programs and front-end graphics.
- Commissioning on projects.
- Analyzing problems and resolving issues to ensure the complete system functions properly.
- Performing system diagnostics and recommend enhancements to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Coordinating customer training and complete closeout documents.
- Providing technical support and direction to end-users and employees when applicable.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 101,600 - USD 152,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
