As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer within our Ground Engineering & Materials team, you'll bring your experience to some of the most high-profile, technically complex, and meaningful infrastructure projects in the region. Based in Kelowna, Kamloops, or Castlegar, you will be part of a connected national practice while making a real, on-the-ground impact in the communities you serve.

Your Impact
  • Deliver geotechnical expertise on multidisciplinary projects-including highways, bridges, dams, buildings, tunnels, industrial facilities, and remote northern infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with engineering staff and cross-regional teams to develop innovative, practical, and sustainable geotechnical solutions.
  • Prepare detailed geotechnical studies and engineering reports, offering clear, actionable recommendations grounded in field data and technical analysis.
  • Lead or support geotechnical investigation programs, including scoping, bidding, procurement, and oversight of subcontractor activities.
  • Assess and evaluate key geotechnical challenges such as settlement, liquefaction, slope stability, frost heave, groundwater flow, excavation considerations, and more.
  • Manage field programs that may include drilling, in-situ testing, CPT investigations, trenching, and construction QA/QC activities (e.g., subgrade compaction, geosynthetics installation).
  • Contribute to project delivery excellence by ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and with exceptional technical rigor.

  • Registration, or eligibility for registration, as a P.Eng. with EGBC.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 - $138,000
MB & ON: $95,000 - $130,800
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $94,100 - $124,900
