Description and requirements If you want to shape the future of energy, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering & Construction team!
Who you will work with The Sr. Electrical Engineer, in cooperation with other Units and while also supporting the less senior discipline members, will ensure the execution of engineering project assigned in complete compliance with best practices, quality, safety and environmental requirements, as well as compliance with schedules and costs, also managing external resources. Addresses and solves technical issues related to own field of expertise and by means of own knowledge in order to meet project requirements. The activity will cover greenfield projects, repowerings and M&A due diligences.
What you will do - Execute the Due Diligences, Feasibility Studies, Design for Permitting, Basic Design, and Detailed Design for renewable power plants (wind, solar, geo, Hydro and storage) - related to own field of expertise;
- Review for validation of the Due Diligence, Feasibility Studies, Design for Permitting, Basic Design, and Detailed Design - related to own field of expertise;
- Support the other units within the Organization for assuring the quality of the construction (supplies and works) of the renewable power plants (wind, solar, geo, Hydro and storage) - related to own field of expertise;
- Support the other units within the Organization during the start-up and commissioning of the renewable power plants (wind, solar, geo, Hydro and storage) - related to own field of expertise;
- Support the other units within the Organization for the Overall planning of the project's activities - related to own field of expertise;
- Lead, perform and support the other units estimating the costs for the construction of renewable power plants (wind, solar, geo, Hydro and storage) - related to own field of expertise;
- Lead, perform and support the other units the risk assessment related to the construction of renewable power plants (wind, solar, geo, Hydro and storage) - related to own field of expertise
- Develop, create and update on a regular basis the technical specifications and guidelines to be used for any RFPs to be issued by the Organization - related to own field of expertise;
- Lead, perform and support the other units for the preparation of the technical evaluation of the offers submitted by the Vendors for any RFPs sent out by the Organization - related to own field of expertise;
- Manage, with the support of other units within the Organization, the engineering service contracts;
- Support the other units within the Organization for the supply chain, construction and commissioning contracts entered into with external service providers related to own field of expertise;
- Provide feedbacks for the continuous improvement of the design methodologies;
- Mentoring, coaching and supporting the less senior discipline members
What you will bring The minimum requirements for this role are:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Power System Engineering, Master's Degree is preferred;
- PE certification is preferred;
- 5+ years of experience in Power systems operating in High Voltage
- Knowledge in Renewables
- Experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance related to own field of expertise;
- Experience in construction and/or commissioning related to own filed of expertise will be a plus;
- Knowledge of informatics: AutoCAD, Power system Softwares, (DigSILENT, ETAP, NEPLAN, etc.);
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
- Excellent written and verbal communication;
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively support and work well with people from different disciplines;
- Strong client-facing and internal communication skills;
- Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change;
- Ability to work within a global framework and a matrix organization;
- Ability in working within multidisciplinary and multicultural teams;
- Innovation and Sustainable thinking;
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills;
- Ability to work in autonomy for complex tasks and in multiple projects under pressure;
- Advanced time management and planning skills with ability to review, compile and track project documentation;
- Fluent English is required, Spanish or Italian preferred;
- Must be available for up to 20% domestic and occasional international travel for meetings and for on-site support;
- A valid driver's license operable in all 50 states and Canada and a clean driving record. A clean driving record means:
- In the last 3 years, no driving-related suspension, revocation or cancellation, no disqualifying offenses, no more than 2 moving violations and no reckless driving incidents.
- In the last 5 years, no major driving offenses including DUI/DWI, refusal to test, leaving the scene, driving a commercial vehicle without a CDL, or at-fault fatal accident.

The base pay actually offered will be based on several factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, work experience, education, and internal equity.
