  • Contribute to corporate BIM standards and workflows through technology-driven methods.
  • Collaborate with the project setup team and assist in project setup.
  • Coordinate with WSP's offshore BIM/design team in India for efficient workflow integration.
  • Develop advanced digital tools to improve automated modeling operations.

The Opportunity

Build the Future With Us - This is your chance to bring your BIM and Electrical design expertise to projects that shape the GTA and Southwestern Ontario's transportation infrastructure. In this role, you will contribute to future-focused solutions and support a major digital transformation initiative within our Mechanical & Electrical group.

Your Impact
  • Design and 3D-model Power Distribution, Circuiting, Conduit Runs, Grounding, Lightning Protection, Lighting Systems, Fixture Selection, Lighting Controls, and Fire Alarm Systems.
  • Support Electrical Engineers and Lighting Designers with system calculations, equipment selection, and lighting-control integration.
  • Follow the GTA M&E Digital Standards and Automation Procedures to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Mentor, guide, and support Revit-based BIM teams to elevate digital delivery capabilities.
  • Support corporate BIM standards, workflows, and production through technology-driven methods.
  • Assist with project setup and collaborate closely with the project setup team.
  • Coordinate daily with WSP's offshore BIM/design team in India to optimize multi-regional workflow efficiency.
  • Collaborate in the development of advanced digital tools enabling more automated and efficient modeling operations.
  • Stay current with evolving BIM, Revit, ACC, Dynamo, and related digital delivery trends.
  • Work independently or collaboratively under the direction of senior technical leads and engineers.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Electrical and Lighting design using CAD and advanced BIM 3D Revit modeling in a consulting office.
  • Superior proficiency in Revit 3D Modeling, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and BIM add-ins; Autodesk Revit Certification is considered an asset.
  • Experience supporting regional or national BIM standards and contributing to design automation initiatives.
  • Strong ability to champion digital delivery technologies and help teams adopt smarter, automated workflows.
  • Knowledge of Navisworks and Dynamo scripting for workflow optimization.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Bentley MicroStation.
  • Organized, self-driven, methodical, and able to perform under project-delivery pressures.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT:
$89,800 - $118,900

MB & ON:
$81,900 - $112,800
