Senior Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Developer
ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT
The Senior Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Developer role leads that technical transition, combining hands-on Dynamics 365 development with modern frontend work (React, PCF), backend integration (C#, .NET Core, Azure), and AI-assisted development practices applied across the CRM development lifecycle.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Modern UI & Extension Development- Design and build custom, responsive user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and the Power Apps Component Framework (PCF), using Fluent UI.
- Develop backend extensions using C# and .NET Core, and design secure integrations with external enterprise systems via Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Function Apps, API Management).
AI & Copilot Integration- Prototype, deploy, and maintain agentic workflows and AI plug-ins using Copilot Studio and Azure OpenAI integrated into Dynamics 365.
- Apply AI-assisted tooling across the CRM development lifecycle: agentic code review for PCF components and Dataverse plug-ins, catching defects that manual review typically misses (for example, logic errors that only surface in end-to-end runs).
- Use AI to flag naming-convention and configuration deviations in Dataverse schemas, workflows, and plug-ins before deployment, rather than relying solely on manual review.
- Support first-draft generation of ADO artifacts (features, stories, acceptance criteria) from design docs and reconcile technical documentation against actual Dynamics/Power Platform implementation on a recurring basis.
Architecture & Automation- Lead the transition from legacy customizations to modern architecture, replacing legacy background workflows with low-latency Power Automate cloud flows and Dataverse plug-ins.
- Design CRM data synchronization patterns using Azure resources (Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, API Management).
ALM, DevOps & Technical Leadership- Champion modern Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), managing automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for CRM environment deployments, incorporating AI-assisted testing and validation where it improves reliability.
- Architect solutions, review code, and mentor team members on modern development practices, AI-assisted engineering workflows, and Microsoft's technology roadmap.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
EXPERIENCE- 5+ years of specialized development experience within Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and the Power Platform.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILILITIES- Proven experience building custom UI components using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript within the PCF framework.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Dataverse SDK, and relational data modeling
- Hands-on experience with Azure resources (Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, API Management) for CRM data synchronization
- Deep understanding of ALM concepts, solution management, and automated pipeline execution in Azure DevOps
- Experience with, or strong interest in, applying AI/LLM tooling (Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, or comparable) to development workflows, not just end-user features.
- Experience with Anthropic Claude or other LLM APIs in a development-tooling context.
- Prior experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
- Exposure to agentic code review or AI-assisted testing practices.
