DescriptionDGR Systems, a growing premier technology consulting company, is looking for a
Senior Network Engineer with expertise in enterprise networking solutions.
This individual will lead medium to large networking engagements while mentoring engineers and serving as a senior technical resource. The ideal candidate has experience with Juniper, HPE Aruba, and Cisco networking technologies and enjoys helping customers modernize their network infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, migrate, and optimize enterprise network solutions.
- Lead medium to large customer engagements.
- Perform network assessments, health checks, upgrades, and remediation activities.
- Create implementation plans and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot complex wired, wireless, routing, and switching issues.
Demonstrate Expertise- Juniper switching, routing, and security
- HPE Aruba CX switching and Aruba wireless
- Cisco Catalyst switching and enterprise routing
- Enterprise LAN/WAN design
- Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
- Network segmentation and VLAN design
- Network Access Control (ClearPass, Cisco ISE preferred)
- High availability and resiliency
- Network monitoring and troubleshooting
- PowerShell, Python, or network automation preferred
Technical Leadership- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Contribute to technical standards and best practices.
- Stay current on networking and security technologies.
Requirements- 5+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years focused on enterprise networking.
- Experience with Juniper, HPE Aruba, and Cisco technologies.
- Experience with switching, routing, wireless, and troubleshooting.
- Experience performing migrations and infrastructure refresh projects.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing consulting skills.
- PowerShell, Python, or automation experience preferred.
- Ability to mentor and guide less experienced engineers.
Professional Certifications Preferred- HPE Aruba Certified Professional
