Position Overview We are seeking an experienced
Senior .NET Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-level applications within a comprehensive data collection and reporting environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in
C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, SQL Server, DevOps practices, application security, and software delivery automation.
This role will play a key part in modernizing development processes, improving application quality, strengthening security practices, and driving continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions while advancing development standards and operational efficiency.
Required Education - High School Diploma or equivalent required
Required Qualifications & Experience - 8+ years of professional experience developing applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core
- 8+ years of experience implementing secure software development practices, including secure coding standards, static code analysis, and data protection/encryption techniques
- 5+ years of experience working with Azure DevOps, Git, GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines
- 5+ years of experience implementing automated testing strategies, technical documentation, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and gated deployment processes
- 8+ years of experience developing and optimizing solutions using T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
- 4+ years of experience utilizing code quality and security scanning tools
- 5+ years of experience managing source control strategies, including branching, merging, and release management processes
Preferred Qualifications - Experience leading DevOps transformation initiatives within enterprise environments
- Experience designing and automating build and deployment pipelines
- Experience identifying and reducing technical debt while driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience supporting large-scale data collection, analytics, and reporting applications
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-quality software solutions
- Experience with cloud technologies and modern software engineering practices
Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and maintain scalable DevOps processes supporting enterprise application development and deployment
- Lead CI/CD automation initiatives and improve software delivery workflows
- Manage and optimize source control processes using GitHub Enterprise and Azure DevOps
- Develop and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core
- Apply secure coding practices and improve application security through automated scanning and quality analysis tools
- Establish and enhance automated testing strategies, including unit and integration testing
- Improve development standards through documentation, code reviews, and engineering best practices
- Optimize branching, merging, and release management strategies
- Automate build, deployment, and operational workflows to increase efficiency and reliability
- Identify, manage, and reduce technical debt to improve application maintainability
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across development and delivery processes
- Partner with business and technical teams to design and deliver secure, scalable solutions
