Job Description

HII - Mission Technology is looking for a Senior DoD Manufacturing Specialist with experience in Logistics, Infrastructure Management, Manufacturing and Electrical, including Auxiliary Power Systems. Position is located at Tinker AFB, OK. TS/SCI clearance is required.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Understand and support the USAF's MOB stand-up process.
  • Apply life cycle logistics support, knowledge, and experience to organize and manage resources and personnel needed to efficiently and effectively.
  • Logistics relevant (i.e., logistics systems, maintenance, training, and technical data management) experience and capability.
  • Support all aspects of weapon system development, production, and fielding related to the DoD's integrated Product Support Elements PSEs:


Life Cycle Sustainment Management to include:
  • Product Support Management
  • Supply Support
  • Packaging
  • Handling
  • Storage and Transportation
  • Maintenance Planning and Management
  • Technical Management to include Design Interface, Sustaining Engineering, Technical Data, and Computer Resources
  • Infrastructure Management to include Facilities and Infrastructure, Manpower and Personnel, and Training and Training Support.
  • Support evaluation of logistics systems requirements, designs, and products to ensure the weapon system satisfies the integrated PSEs.
  • Support development, review, and coordination of logistics support documentation including Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Technical Orders (TOs), Training Coursework and Manuals, and technical data products.
  • Support the Depot Source of Repair process, the TO Data Conference, technical data reviews, and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) tasks.
  • Support review and coordination of contractor Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) analyses and recommendations

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of logistics relevant DoD work experience with no less than four (4) years' experience in a SAP and/or SCI environment.
  • 10 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; or 8 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field, i.e. logistics, management, engineering, or science/math
  • At least ten years' experience maintaining military aircraft and commodities in an organizational level and/or depot level environment.
  • Experience using USAF Technical Orders, maintenance tools and support equipment, and the USAF maintenance and supply systems, forms, and documentation.
  • Experience with aircraft materials, maintenance requirements, manufacturing processes, provisioning processes, and component operations.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Requirements

Experience desired in aircraft systems and subsystems, to include:

Crew Station, Instruments, Flight Controls, Electrical and Auxiliary Power, Weapons (Conventional & Nuclear), Propulsion, Environmental Control, Hydraulics, Egress, and Software.
