The Rocket Motor Systems group at Anduril designs, develops, and manufactures next-generation solid rocket motors for defense and space applications. Our mission is to deliver innovative and reliable solutions to meet the critical needs of our customers.
ABOUT THE JOB

Anduril's Rocket Motor Systems division is seeking an an individual with extensive operations and project management experience who is ready to join our team and make an immediate impact. This role requires an individual capable of assessing and integrating inputs from multiple domains such as Business Development, Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Enterprise Resource Management, and Program Scheduling, analyzing those cross-domain inputs, and generating high quality plans, products, and timely communications so that organizational leaders in all domains and can make timely and informed decisions on how to guide the business and execute scheduled work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Evaluate existing program schedules and work with program teams and production operations to flow demand to the shop floor, ensuring on-time-delivery of contracted work
  • Plan ahead to deconflict competing program interests between key stakeholders while balancing production capacity to minimize inter-program conflict and unnecessary overtime or scheduled work
  • Partner with Business Development and Production Operations to evaluate proposals for schedule execution attainability and impact on existing contracted commitments
  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts for contracted work and on-going proposal demand
  • Foster enduring, productive relationships across the business within production, quality, supply chain, engineering, business development, and senior leadership; Leverage your unique position to enable cross-discipline communication and enhance information awareness
  • Innovation and Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the program, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages accountability, high performance, and ethical behavior.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, program management, management consulting, or operations, preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex development projects.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams, including engineering, operations, finance, and sales.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with government agencies, team members, and senior leadership.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and quantitative skills with the ability to use data to make recommendations and drive decisions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Project, and Jira.
  • Willingness to travel 25% - 50% to support project objectives and customer engagements.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in high-pressure situations and adjust to changing priorities.
  • B.S. (minimum) in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Strong understanding of rocket motor systems, propulsion technologies, and relevant manufacturing processes.


US Salary Range

$126,000-$167,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
