Job Description SummaryResponsible for the pooled plan product roadmap and strategy, ensuring the business has short and long term alignment on pooled plan priorities, including, but not limited to technology/automation enhancements, marketing strategies and service model updates.
Job Description Responsibilities• Develop and maintain strategy for accelerating pooled plan growth and service model for all pooled plan product types.
• Collaborate across functional areas to understand and document model gaps and during RFP and pre-sales consulting process.
• Analyze market trends, data and competitive landscape to discern pooled plan product opportunities and translate market conditions in product development or product enhancement opportunities.
• Make and socialize recommendations to product leadership and internal teams on strategic decisions, including product features, competitive positioning, profitability targets, sales goals, and key milestone dates to ensure alignment with overall product strategy.
• Ensure product ideas are efficiently sourced and prioritized. Work with pricing, marketing, sales and operations teams to build a strong pipeline for future product enhancements.
• Leads the development, design and product maintenance of large institutional PEP relationships with a focus on ensuring the plan fits t the strategic objectives of the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders - such as distributors, Marketing, Finance, IT and other key stakeholders to recommend product features, competitiveness, profitability, sales goals and launch dates.
• Provides reporting and updates on the Pooled Plan business and ongoing initiatives. Examples include reporting on profitability, strategic positioning, product landscape.
• Act as retirement business SME for all pooled plan products, including PEPs, MEPs and Exchange plans.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, quality delivery, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Twelve years of experience in retirement services, product management, or financial services, with deep expertise in pooled plan products (e.g., PEPs, MEPs, Exchange plans)
• Eight years of management experience leading and development teams
• Provide strong leadership through coaching and performance management to ensure team members deliver excellence, grow professionally, and consistently achieve strategic objectives.
• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in pooled plan design, service models, and regulatory considerations within the retirement industry
• Proven ability to develop and execute product strategy and roadmap initiatives, including translating market insights into actionable product enhancements
• Strong understanding of retirement plan operations, distribution models, and pricing/profitability dynamics
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Technology
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends, competitive intelligence, and financial data to inform strategic decisions
• Track record of successfully managing complex product portfolios and large institutional client relationships
• Experience supporting RFP processes, pre-sales consulting, and product positioning efforts
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively "socialize" recommendations and influence senior leadership
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and reporting solutions used to track product performance, profitability, and strategic outcomes
Preferred Qualifications• MBA or advanced degree

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $200,000 - $225,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs.
Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company's discretion
