Full Job Description
Hometown Soccer Holdings (HSH) is building a portfolio of locally rooted MLS NEXT Pro clubs, each deeply embedded in its community and built to create lasting connections with fans. The Senior Director, Partnerships is responsible for leading the Club's full corporate partnership business, including new business sales, activation and service, and renewals.

Reporting to the Club President, this role owns partnership revenue planning, inventory and pricing architecture, pipeline strategy, and departmental culture, while personally carrying a book of marquee accounts. The Senior Director leads a unified sales & activation organization, manages third-party sales agency relationships, and partners cross-functionally to maximize revenue and deliver measurable results for partners.

This is a compelling opportunity for a commercially-driven partnership leader to build and run the sponsorship revenue engine of a growing club. The ideal candidate brings proven corporate partnership sales management experience, a strong track record closing and renewing complex multi-year agreements, command of CRM and partnership reporting platforms, and a genuine passion for soccer and sports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and execute the Club's annual partnership revenue plan across all inventory categories
  • Personally own, sell, and close a book of marquee, high-value partnership accounts
  • Lead long-term inventory, valuation, pricing, and packaging strategy across venue, kit, digital, and matchday assets
  • Oversee forecasting, budgeting, revenue tracking, and reporting
  • Monitor category trends and emerging platforms to evolve the Club's partnership offering
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Partnership Sales and Partnership Activation teams, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Build a positive, high-accountability sales culture grounded in development and partner outcomes
  • Own activation and service standards post-signature, ensuring partners achieve their business objectives and renew
  • Oversee CRM strategy, lead qualification, and pipeline hygiene, ensuring accurate staff data entry to protect dashboard integrity and forecasting
  • Manage third-party sales agency relationships and protected brand lists, holding partners accountable to scope and results
  • Establish standards around contract accuracy, approvals, discounting, and payment structures
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Ticketing, and Operations to align activations, promotions, and matchday delivery
  • Represent the department internally and externally with executive-level communication
  • Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned


You Have These:
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate partnership or sponsorship sales with a professional sports team including senior leadership
  • Demonstrated success closing and renewing significant partnership agreements and delivering revenue growth
  • Strong strategic and financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, valuation, and pricing
  • Strong knowledge of CRM platforms and partnership activation and reporting tools
  • Excellent executive-level communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and event days


Compensation & Total Rewards:
  • Base Salary Range: $100,000 per year. (Base salary at the time of an offer will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, expert experience, and current market conditions.)
  • Bonus Eligibility: This position is eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus structure based on individual performance and overall organizational goals. Commission Eligibility: This position is eligible to participate in a commission structure based on individual performance and overall department goals.
  • Broad-Based Ownership Pool (BBOP) Eligibility: This position is eligible to participate in a Broad-Based Ownership Pool, a company-wide equity program designed to give employees a stake in the organization's long-term success.
