Full Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE

As Daymark's Senior Director of Provider Growth, you will be a key driver of Daymark's provider network. Reporting to the VP of Provider Growth, you will sit at the critical intersection of strategy and execution, responsible for convincing the nation's leading oncology practices that Daymark is their partner of choice in the shift to value-based care.

Your mission is to build a dual-sided network by moving from high-level "vision" talks to paper on the table-making it easy for provider groups to say yes through clean economics, clear workflows, and simple integration. You will spend your time on the road, building deep relationships with independent practices, academic centers, and large oncology networks. You are a road warrior who thrives on the dinner-table diplomacy required to close deals, the analytical rigor needed to structure shared savings models, and the operational focus to ensure those deals actually work in clinical practice.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Strategic Network Expansion
  • Lead the development and execution of Daymark's long-term strategy to engage oncology providers, ensuring alignment with market opportunities and payer-driven growth.
  • Evaluate and drive strategic partnerships with risk-bearing entities and channel partners to enhance Daymark's reach and margin growth.
  • Map and engage with key contacts at target provider partners (including physician leaders, practice administrators, and MSO corporate development leaders), developing and nurturing those relationships over time.
  • Develop presentation and proposal materials for provider partners, translating market insights into compelling collateral. Tailor our model and materials to different types of providers (such as independent practices, academic medical centers, and MSO-affiliated networks), accounting for the specific economics of each. Understand and utilize value levers that are unique to different providers, such as clinical trial enrollment.
  • In partnership with the VP of Provider Growth, work with non-oncology (e.g., ACO leaders) in academic medical centers and integrated health systems (when necessary) to facilitate a system wide partnership.
  • Develop key relationships with provider groups per year, converting a subset into partnerships that open or strengthen payer markets.

Deal Structuring & Negotiation
  • Develop and implement innovative compensation and shared savings models that provide a "growth moat."
  • Lead individual provider partnerships from initial sourcing and diligence through to contract signing and hand-off.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • As the second member of the Provider Growth team, you will work closely with the other Growth senior leaders across payer and provider partnerships to prioritize geographic focus and ensure Daymark becomes the favored partner for key provider organizations.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure a seamless "onboarding" experience for newly signed practices.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • The "Closer" Mentality: You have a proven track record of selling provider contracts in a dual-sided network (e.g., Kidney care, VBC primary care, or oncology). You know how to talk to and work with both physicians and administrators in a way that doesn't over-complicate the value proposition.
  • Relationship Builder: You build genuine, trust-based relationships with physician leaders and administrators that go well beyond any single meeting or deal, understanding that the best partnerships come from becoming a long-term advisor.
  • VBC and/or Oncology Expertise: 8+ years of experience in business development, internal strategy, or VC/PE within the healthcare space. You deeply understand value-based healthcare services and the "plumbing" of payer/provider ecosystems. It'd be wonderful if you have existing relationships within major oncology networks (e.g., OneOncology, AON, US Oncology) or cancer centers at large integrated health system.
  • Travel Ready: You understand that the best deals aren't closed over Zoom, and you are excited to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Bias to Action: You move with purpose. You don't wait for a perfect strategy; you iterate based on market feedback and "get paper in front of providers" quickly.
  • Analytical Rigor: You can build or oversee the financial modeling for shared savings and JVs, ensuring our partnerships are economically sustainable and competitive.
  • Player/Coach: You are comfortable setting the 30,000-foot strategy with an executive team, but you are equally ready to roll up your sleeves to handle the "nitty-gritty" of contract redlines and implementation hand-offs.
  • Scrappy Mindset: You know we're an early-stage company that doesn't have every process, playbook, or answer figured out yet, and that energizes you rather than frustrates you. You're a self-starter who fills gaps without waiting to be told and figures things out on your own.

Additional Information

The on target compensation for this role is expected to be approximately $180,000 to $210,000 annually, consisting of a base salary and a variable component.

This role is fully remote, with up to 20% travel expected.
