Full Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Sr. Director of Engineering - Enterprise Applications to reimagine how modern cloud platforms and advanced digital solutions power enterprise financial excellence. This leader will drive the adoption of cloud-native applications, data engineering, and AI/automation to optimize accounting, consolidation, planning, and forecasting processes. By modernizing Finance systems and enabling real-time insights, this role will improve agility, resilience, and measurable business value. Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday - Thursday at Hasbro's new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday -Thursday at Hasbro's HQ in Pawtucket, RI.

Key Responsibilities
Technology Vision & Cloud Leadership
  • Define and execute a cloud-first strategy that modernizes Finance platforms across accounting, financial close & consolidation, planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-based Finance ecosystems leveraging SaaS, PaaS, and cloud-native solutions.
Engineering & Modernization
  • Lead engineering teams to design, build, and integrate Finance systems using cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, and event-driven solutions.
  • Drive adoption of AI/GenAI, advanced analytics, and intelligent automation (RPA) to reduce manual work, accelerate close cycles, and improve forecast accuracy.
Team & Culture Building
  • Build and mentor high-performing engineering and DevOps teams, embedding a culture of continuous improvement, agile delivery, and product engineering.
  • Champion modern engineering practices (Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD) to drive velocity and innovation.
Cross-Functional & Business Alignment
  • Partner with Finance, FP&A, and business leadership to ensure technology engineering priorities enable business strategy and deliver real-time insights for decision-making.
  • Evangelize cloud adoption and Finance digital transformation across global business units.
Program Delivery & Execution
  • Lead complex Finance cloud transformation initiatives, delivering measurable outcomes in operational efficiency, compliance, cost savings, and accuracy.
  • Ensure resilience, performance, and quality in Finance technology services.
Vendor & Ecosystem Optimization
  • Evaluate and manage cloud platforms, Finance SaaS providers, and implementation partners, ensuring maximum business value and ROI.
Change Leadership
  • Act as a visible change agent for Finance technology-led transformation, driving adoption and measurable business impact.

What You'll Bring
  • Proven leadership in cloud engineering and Finance technology architecture.
  • Hands-on experience modernizing Finance systems, including accounting, consolidation, FP&A, and reporting platforms.
  • Strong background in data engineering, real-time analytics, and automation to enable faster insights.
  • Experience leading DevOps and engineering teams in complex, global environments.
  • Deep expertise in vendor management, cloud cost optimization, and Finance technology partnerships.
  • Collaborative leadership style with success in aligning Finance and technology executives behind enterprise engineering initiatives.

Core Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles with strong emphasis on cloud, engineering, and Finance systems.
  • Expertise in modern Finance platforms (e.g., Oracle EPM, OneStream, SAP BPC, Anaplan, Workday Adaptive) with a focus on cloud integration and modernization.
  • Demonstrated success in driving global Finance digital transformation through cloud-native solutions, AI, and automation.
  • Strong understanding of ERP Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA) and their integration with consolidation and planning processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience; advanced certifications in Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP), Agile, ITIL, or AI strategy preferred.


The base salary range for this position is $222,500.00 to $333,700.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
