JOB SUMMARY

The Regional Senior Director of IT is responsible for the strategic direction, implementation and delivery of IT infrastructure, services, and applications for Derby City Gaming. Critical aspects of this role include providing leadership, guidance, structure and employee development to the property IT team, documenting, adopting and implementing new processes, standardizing existing processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to align technology solutions with desired business outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains all system and application support for property.
  • Collaborates with the CDI Corporate team office to implement IT initiatives.
  • Work as a member of an internal or organizational project team to implement, deliver and integrate new business systems and processes.
  • Manage timelines, expenses, and expectations of IT related projects.
  • Maintain Derby City Gaming's high-quality guest service standards and represent our core values of Respect and Commitment.
  • Adheres to and implements Corporate standards that are subject to audit.
  • Monitor and respond to critical incidents, as required.
  • Ability to author and maintain documentation for business-critical IT systems.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with both internal and external partners, including, but not limited to reviewing service contracts, SLAs, and organizational policies.
  • Responsible for property IT capital and operating budget planning, forecasting and financial reviews.
  • Ability to inspire and develop their team to achieve their individual goals, team goals, and meet desired business outcomes.
  • Ability to hold themselves and their team accountable for executing, delivering and implementation of technology services, with a focus on guest service and experience.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new and changing business environments.
  • Excellent time management skills with demonstrated experience in managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar field required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of IT systems management experience within a large enterprise.
  • Preferred certifications Comp Tia A+, Network+, Security+, MTA, CCENT, MCSA
  • Ability to obtain a valid Racing License
