Visa Direct is a set of solutions that Visa provides to facilitate money movement across cards, accounts and wallets addressing needs of the markets through variety of the use cases (i.e. P2P, B2B. B2C).

This is a rare opportunity to be part of building a new ecosystem in the fast-moving world of payment and one of the primary growth pillars in LAC business. This market support center-based role will report to Head of Visa Direct Global Commercialization and work closely with Head of Visa Direct LAC. The role holder will lead a team focusing on regional GTM and commercialization, working together with multiple functions across the organization and market teams across LAC. This is a unique opportunity to be part of building a new ecosystem in the fast-moving world of payment and one of the key growth pillars in LAC business.

The role requires a unique combination of cross-border and domestic money movement expertise, including market and product expertise, problem solving ability, flexibility with rapid changes, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail. A strong candidate will have a solid experience in transaction banking, RTP, and financial institutional sales, product management, business analysis, problem-solving, coordination, change management as well as a proven experience in driving product commercialization in highly regulated markets.

Visa is looking for an experienced leader with an outstanding commercialization track record. In addition to Visa and payment industry knowledge required, outstanding people, sales and product management skills are critical.

Responsibilities include:
  • Go-to-market and commercialization. Developing and execution of Go-To-Market plans for Visa Direct, including developing, building, launching and commercializing technology products and platforms. This will include the following components (not exhaustive): sizing, pricing, narratives, distribution channels, building awareness and product usage. This role leads in defining market plans for Visa Direct with specific focus on defined target markets and solutions.
  • Strategy Implementation. Responsible for strategy implementation through including, but not limited to product development, close cooperation with the sales teams, and platform design improvements relevant for LAC. As a subject matter expert, the role requires developing the knowledge base on these new solutions and customizing them for the local markets and developing industry best practices that can be leveraged by the local teams in many markets worldwide.
  • Solution Development. Be a thought leader and influencer in developing the solution in the market. The role holder must manage the initial cycle of the deployment - identify and articulate solution incremental value proposition along with the opportunity sizing and identification of the related dependencies, followed by the internal team mobilization to get the solution prioritized and delivered.
  • Business Analysis and Project Management. New solution rollout has complexities involving multiple stakeholders and the projects have tight deadlines and executive accountability associated with it. Role holder will lead product interrelated project tasks and associated deadlines to ensure that they are met.
  • Product and Platform design. Recommend and coordinate product and platform design improvements relevant for LAC. As a subject matter expert, the role requires developing the knowledge base on these new solutions and customizing them for the local markets and developing industry best practices that can leveraged by local teams in many markets worldwide. Translate specific market needs and feed that that into the global platform development roadmap.
  • Stakeholder Management: New product initiatives and enhancements involve multiple stakeholders' interactions, tight deadlines and executive accountability. The candidate will thrive and successfully lead product interrelated tasks and work closely with multiple stakeholders and teams to meet associated deadlines.
  • People leader. Serve as role model for the team. Be accountable for commitments, promote transparency and healthy debate on key issues and demonstrate ethical behavior, act with integrity. Lead talent initiatives including attracting, retaining and developing high performing employees and ensure team is staffed and motivated to deliver Visa Direct regional and global objectives.
  • Client interaction. As a subject matter expert, the role holder will also occasionally participate in the client pitches, sales cycle and drive the execution of critical product launches.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
  • Minimum 15 years of work experience with a bachelor's degree and/or 12 years work experience with an advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD/PhD).
  • Must have led FI sales teams for at least 5 years in the recent past.
  • Must demonstrate extensive Transaction Banking and Correspondent Banking knowledge.
  • Expert level product management experience, including strong analytical skills identify gaps in the current product offering and lead the effort to develop solutions that drive business value.
  • Strong acumen in product commercialization, including development of a Go-To-Market strategy for a newly established line of the business
  • Previous experience in managing a client portfolio with achievement of specific and measurable sales targets.
  • Experience in cross-border remittance operations, foreign exchange rates.
  • Experience in managing regulatory requirements, KYC and compliance processes.
  • Anti Money Laundering, Payments Risk & Fraud Products and Sanction Screening knowledge is desirable.
  • Experience working in a global organization.
  • Demonstrated experience as a seasoned salesperson driving outcomes and achieving sales targets.
  • Additional financial industry experience - cash management, treasury technology experience a plus.


Information for US Applicants
For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $194.700,00 to $ 340.800,00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
