About the roleThe Senior Director, Global Compliance is responsible for leading and continuously enhancing the Company's global ethics and compliance program. This role develops, implements, monitors, and reports on initiatives designed to prevent, detect, and respond to misconduct throughout the organization. The position reports to the General Counsel and oversees global compliance programs related to ethics, anti-corruption, trade compliance, labor and employment compliance, supply chain compliance, human rights, data privacy, third-party risk management, product regulatory compliance, and other regulatory obligations applicable to a global manufacturing enterprise. The Senior Director, Global Compliance serves as the Company's principal compliance leader and advisor to executive management and the General Counsel regarding compliance risks and program effectiveness.
Responsibilities - Design, implement, maintain, and periodically enhance a comprehensive global compliance and ethics program.
- Develop and update compliance policies, procedures, standards, controls, objectives, metrics, and reporting mechanisms.
- Conduct enterprise-wide compliance risk assessments and benchmark the program against industry best practices and evolving regulatory expectations.
- Monitor global legal and regulatory developments, assess emerging compliance risks, and recommend appropriate controls and mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate and monitor third-party compliance risks across the Company's global supply chain.
- Develop and oversee global compliance training programs.
- Evaluate compliance effectiveness, monitor remediation efforts, and track findings and corrective actions through resolution.
- Track findings and corrective actions through resolution.
- Prepare and present regular reports for executive leadership and the Board of Directors on compliance program status, risk assessments, investigations, hotline metrics, and improvement initiatives.

- Strong written, oral, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal and compliance matters to non-legal audiences and business executives.
- Confidence making recommendations after weighing relevant risks, pros, and cons.
- Experience utilizing data analytics and compliance monitoring tools to measure program effectiveness.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree required.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school preferred.
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), or similar compliance certification preferred.
- Minimum of 12-15 years of progressively responsible legal, compliance, ethics, regulatory, or risk management experience.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of leadership experience managing enterprise-wide compliance programs in a global organization.
- Experience designing, implementing, and enhancing compliance and ethics programs within a multinational manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in anti-corruption laws, trade compliance, labor and employment compliance, supply chain compliance, human rights, data privacy, third-party risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience conducting enterprise compliance risk assessments, managing compliance investigations, and presenting compliance matters to executive leadership and Boards of Directors.
- Experience working closely with Legal, Human Resources, Internal Audit, Supply Chain, Operations, and Executive Leadership teams.
