Summary of Key Responsibilities:- Clinical pathology assessment of preclinical results for platform and program support
- Review non-GLP and GLP study clinical pathology data
- Clearly interpret and report findings and position significance to program teams and broader audiences through descriptions, data tables, and scientific presentations
- Contribute clinical pathology reports and/or reviews for regulatory filings
- Consult with other internal and external stakeholders on preclinical study design and interpretation
- Actively participate in program and platform meetings
- Mentor the clinical pathology scientist and collaborate with all pathology team members to assure optimal support of data generation and analysis in nonclinical studies
- Share biomarker and translational expertise across Research and Early Development
- Participate in group, department and company meetings and activities
Qualifications:- The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience as a pathologist in biotech, pharma or at a CRO
- Veterinary degree and ACVP/ECVP board certification in clinical pathology; PhD preferred but not required in lieu of relevant pathology experience
- Demonstrated scientific curiosity/aptitude through a scientific publication and/or presentation record
- Strong interest in areas of Alnylam research emphasis; demonstrated experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability/interest to travel for essential company activities

U.S. Pay Range$235,500.00 - $318,600.00The pay range reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education. This role is eligible for an annual short-term incentive award (e.g., bonus or sales incentive) and an annual long-term incentive award (e.g., equity).
