Full Job Description
Job Title: Senior Director, Client Service - Financial Services

Location: Charlotte, NC (hybrid; onsite with client 2-3 days per week)

About the job

This role is 100% dedicated to a major financial services client based in Charlotte, NC, with an expectation to be onsite 2 to 3 days per week. You will lead complex brand and advertising programs, act as a trusted adviser to senior client contacts, and ensure the work is delivered with quality, pace, and commercial discipline.

You will not have direct reports, but you will guide a large team of junior colleagues through day-to-day delegation, hands-on coaching, and clear feedback. Success in this role comes from strong client judgement, close partnership with delivery teams, and the ability to translate complexity into clear direction.

Commercial accountability
  • Responsible for profitable delivery of Brand Performance work for ~5M revenue account
  • Leads Brand Performance new business opportunities to maintain and grow the business
  • Ensures Purposeful Collaboration across solutions
  • Knowledge of commercial priorities for the business/portfolio and understanding how actions contribute to business outcomes
  • Supports in driving commercial agenda/goals for portfolio revenue


Client accountability
  • Leads large, complex Brand and Advertising tracking programs; both overseeing programs and involved in day-to-day projects (for largest, most strategic, complex, high demand work)
  • Provides guidance to team and contributes to expertise, thought leadership, design, storytelling, and client management of accounts.
  • Consults on research design (survey, sample, specs, deliverables)
  • Responsible for delivering on client servicing values and driving client satisfaction
  • Accountable for profitability
  • Experience owning or developing relationships with clients
  • Act as an escalation point for delivery, quality, and client servicing issues, bringing clarity and momentum when challenges arise.


People accountability

  • Delegate work clearly across a large delivery team, ensuring junior colleagues understand priorities, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Coach and support junior colleagues through hands-on guidance, active feedback, and practical problem solving across projects.
  • Contributes to key strategic initiatives, including Blueprint, cross-sell strategy, and SPARK, while partnering with other leaders to support Brand Performance training needs.
  • Acts as a positive role model, leading by example and encouraging team to drive toward organizational goals in an effective way
