Job Description Summary
As the AI Catalyst Leader for Unison (GE Aerospace), you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge data science and world-class aerospace product and service delivery. Reporting to the CDIO of GE Aerospace and the GM of the Unison, you won't just build models-you'll be a leader in a high-performing team to embed AI directly into our shop floors and customer offerings. This is a high-impact, gemba-focused role designed to revolutionize aerospace productivity through Lean principles and intelligent automation.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Execution: Lead the AI/ML product strategy across Unison, turning complex business needs into data-driven solutions that optimize SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost) that align with both business need and enterprise framework.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a premier data and AI applications team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Operational Integration: Partner with shop operations to deploy AI tools that reduce downtime, improve engine service outcomes, and enhance profitability.
  • Lean Transformation: Act as a Lean practitioner, applying "Flight Deck" behaviors to standardize technology delivery and drive business transformation.
  • Genba Presence: Spend ~40% of your time on-site at Unison facilities to understand the user experience firsthand and ensure technology solves real-world shop problems.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of professional experience (or equivalent years of experience/Military service).
  • 7+ years of dedicated experience in Data Analytics/Engineering leadership.
  • Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
