- Perform troubleshooting on electrical, fuel, cooling, drivetrain, hydraulic, and aftertreatment systems
- Complete preventative maintenance and major component repairs
- Use diagnostic software, technical manuals, and computerized troubleshooting tools
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend repair solutions
- Maintain accurate service documentation and repair records
- Work safely and efficiently while delivering high-quality workmanship
What We're Looking For - Previous experience as a diesel technician, diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, fleet mechanic, truck technician, or related role
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to diagnose and repair diesel-powered equipment
- Experience with electronic diagnostics and repair software is preferred
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service
- Valid driver's license required
Preferred Qualifications - OEM certifications (Detroit Diesel, Cummins, Allison, Volvo, MTU, or similar)
- Technical school or diesel technology training
- CDL or willingness to obtain one
- Advanced diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting experience
