Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java and Python development, excellent working knowledge of AWS cloud services, and exposure to DevOps and CI/CD tools. The candidate should be capable of developing automation solutions, creating pipelines, debugging failures, and supporting application teams with deployment issues in a cloud-native environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain applications and automation solutions using Java and Python.
Design, create, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application development and deployment.
Debug pipeline and deployment failures and provide technical support to application teams.
Develop and support cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
Apply DevOps principles, source control, and release management practices.
Work with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Harness, BitBucket, and Nexus to support software delivery.
Support security and vulnerability scanning activities using tools such as SNYK, CrowdStrike, and SonarQube.
Collaborate with application, DevOps, and engineering teams to troubleshoot technical issues and improve deployment processes.
Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes where applicable.
Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using Terraform.
Participate in Agile/Scrum practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
Monitor application and deployment environments and support observability initiatives.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of development experience in Java and Python.
Must have experience in the Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services domain.
Strong understanding of AWS cloud services and cloud-native architecture.
Working knowledge of DevOps principles, source control, and release management.
Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, Harness, BitBucket, or Nexus.
Exposure to security vulnerability scanning tools such as SNYK, CrowdStrike, and SonarQube.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts using Terraform.
AWS Certification.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Exposure to monitoring and observability tools.
