Senior Deltek Costpoint Developer

Design, maintain, and enhance applications and COGNOS/BI that support and optimize business operations within Deltek Costpoint. Provide ongoing operational support and lead the strategic development of business intelligence tools that enable leadership to make data‑driven decisions and evaluate performance. Troubleshoot application issues and deliver tailored solutions to end users.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Sr Deltek Costpoint Developer: $93k - $125k, plus annual bonus.

Sr Deltek Costpoint Developer Responsibilities Include: 

• Codes, tests, debugs, modifies, and troubleshoots all BI tools in accordance with industry standards. 
• Defines, analyzes, and documents business processes and practices.
• Collaborates with business partners and effectively translate business rules/requirements into BI and application solutions.
• Performs daily support and maintenance Deltek Costpoint and COGNOS/BI.
• Understands, articulates, and implements best practices for Deltek Costpoint Applications. 
• Consults across business operations; provides mentorship and ensures best practices are followed. 
• Provides, plans and performs research and design assessments in an assigned application area. 
• Defines and analyzes problems, gathers information, and provides associated solutions to resolve problem. 
• Codes and develops applications and extensions according to specifications defined by business and analysts. 
• Writes technical and end-user documentation and instructions for ongoing support. 
• Communicates work item statuses to project managers and stakeholders. 
• Collaborates with business analysts to provide workload estimates for development projects. 
• Delivers data dimensions and training that allow the business to perform what-if analysis. 
• Turns data into usable information through reporting, data analytics, dashboards, etc.
• Builds solutions that identify trends in our data and reliably predict and forecast opportunities.
• Provides support assistance and training to other team members. 
• Defines standards, development methodologies, and processes. 
• Leads medium to large-size reporting projects.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned. 

Sr Deltek Costpoint Developer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, accounting or another related field 
• 8 years of COGNOS/BI development experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Advanced Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint applications and BI tools within Costpoint.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with internal and external customers and team members. 
• Advanced analytical and organizational skills. 
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to work independently as well as with others.   
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
