Job Title: Senior DBA Consultant

Location(s): Lincoln, NE

Location:
  • Onsite preferred in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA.
  • May include some remote support responsibilities.
  • On-call rotation required (nights/weekends).

Experience Level:
  • Senior DBA with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong troubleshooting and production support background.
  • Experience managing enterprise database environments.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Administer, maintain, secure, and optimize database environments.
  • Independently resolve performance issues, job failures, space issues, login/connectivity problems, and database inconsistencies.
  • Monitor database health, availability, and integrity.
  • Support high-availability and disaster recovery configurations.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and operational tickets.
  • Recommend automation and modernization opportunities, including AI-driven improvements.
  • Collaborate with application teams during troubleshooting and upgrades.
