Responsibilities
You know EO or SAR imagery. You have worked with the data, understand the quirks of the collection, and can write Python that does something useful with it. This role puts that experience to work on a geospatial intelligence program where the data complexity is real and the mission impact is direct. You will perform quantitative analysis, build visualizations that support decisions, and develop software to keep data pipeline operations running and visible. Prior experience with overhead imagery is required.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies and the data systems that feed them
- Comfortable working across geospatial file formats, JSON, XML, and similar complex data types
- 3+ years of quantitative analysis, visualization development, and data processing including ETL and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Python development experience for data cleaning and manipulation
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience applying NLP to extract data from documents
- Solid math and statistics background including classification, regression, clustering, and causal modeling
- Exposure to IC analytic modernization work such as Computer Vision, automated collection, or automated reporting
What you can expect from us
- The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $150,000-$175,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
