Full Job Description
Duties:
  • Oversee the overall effort concerning data collection and archiving, ensuring alignment with 780TS mission objectives and technical requirements.
  • Work directly with data team members and test engineers to ensure technical standards and project timelines are met.
  • Provide briefings at test planning, execution, and working group meetings, providing strategic insights and policy updates on test data management procedures.
  • Ensure reports and deliverables are produced and submitted in accordance with prescribed processes.
  • Facilitate document reviews, tracking suspense dates, and collating and submitting comments.
  • Develop and coordinate squadron-wide processes for collecting complete data packages from tests executed by the 780TS, other government test organizations, and/or contractors at varying ranges (CONUS and OCONUS).•
  • Maintain close contact with all data stakeholders to ensure unique data requirements for multiple programs are met and understood.•
  • Define, implement, and manage a robust data ontology to ensure the standardization, appropriate use, and secure sharing of test data originating from varying sources.•
  • Provide expertise to guide test data planning and coordination meetings.•
  • Expertly manage storage solutions for different data types at multiple classification levels for accurate and effective archive, retrieval, and distribution.•
  • Conduct regular data audits to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any restrictions to efficient data flow and implement process improvements and corrective actions when necessary.
  • Advise and assist in creating tools, or work with local offices to have tools created, to streamline and/or automate data collection, processing, archiving, and/or distribution.•
  • Provide advice and assistance on working with data network offices for troubleshooting connectivity and utility issues and coordinate with local information technology personnel to resolve issues.
  • Maintain the required training and knowledge of current applicable procedures to serve as a Data Transfer Agent.
  • Maintain accountability of controlled media and media transfer devices.
  • Ensure data security architecture is followed.


Requirements:
  • Masters Degree and 10+ years of relevant experience; *Years of experience may be substituted for education requirement, per customer approval.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Ability to communicate clearly to multiple stakeholders.
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to work as part of an integrated team.
  • Must have strong communication skills and possess some technical writing skills.
  • Candidates must be analytical, methodical and detail-oriented and have the ability to communicate in oral and written form.


Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with collecting and transferring Unclassified/Classified data on shared networks.
  • Well organized with excellent communications skills.
  • Familiarity with developmental and operational (DT/OT) test processes is highly desired.


Security Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret security clearance with eligibility for Special Access Programs.

Other Essential Job Functions: Must be willing to travel up to 10%.
