We are looking for a
Senior Data Engineer who wants to take real ownership in building and scaling a modern data platform. This role is focused on designing, building, and operating the company's data platform, data infrastructure, and data reliability systems. - Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines across multiple sources and systems
Data Architecture
- Develop and evolve our data warehouse/lakehouse architecture with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
Data Quality & Reliability
- Implement monitoring, validation, and observability solutions to ensure trustworthy data across the organization
Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Operations, and Engineering teams to design and maintain scalable data infrastructure that enables self-service reporting.
Ownership
- Take end-to-end responsibility for data initiatives, from design and implementation to production rollout and ongoing optimization
Performance Optimization
- Improve data processing efficiency, query performance, and cost-effectiveness across the platform
About you- You are passionate about data engineering and solving complex technical data problems
- You have 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in fast-paced, data-driven environments
- You have strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL
- You have experience with tools such as Fivetran, BigQuery, Dataform, Sigma, GA4
- You have worked with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- You understand data modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, and building scalable data systems
- Experience with streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka) is a plus
- Fluency in English is required; German is a plus
