Your role and responsibilities
As a Senior Data Architect specializing in Business Intelligence, you will design business intelligence or analytics applications that run on multiple platforms and are composed of multiple software packages/tools. Your expertise will enable organizations to improve their business performance by leveraging data about their clients, suppliers, and internal business operations.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Design Business Intelligence Solutions: Design the technical components of a business intelligence solution, including full lifecycle implementation, to meet business requirements and improve performance.
• Develop Data Architecture: Create logical and physical data models for business intelligence specific information, ensuring data integrity and scalability.
• Optimize Performance: Tune and transform business intelligence solutions to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Develop Test Strategies: Collaborate with teams to build test strategies and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Deliver Solution Designs: Design solutions for dashboards, reporting, and integration, meeting business needs and stakeholder expectations.

• Business Intelligence Tool Selection: Experience with selecting and implementing Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Cognos, and Qlik to meet business requirements.
• Data Architecture Design: Experience with designing logical and physical data models for business intelligence specific information, ensuring data integrity and scalability.
• Solution Design and Implementation: Experience with designing and implementing business intelligence solutions, including full lifecycle implementation, to meet business requirements and improve performance.
• Performance Tuning and Optimization: Experience with tuning and transforming business intelligence solutions to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Technical Component Design: Experience with designing technical components of a business intelligence solution, including reporting wireframe creation and dashboard design.
Requires Top Secret Clearance with SCI access

• Strategy Development Expertise: Experience with developing strategies for business intelligence solutions, including aligning with business objectives and identifying opportunities for improvement. This involves analyzing business needs, defining solution requirements, and creating strategic plans for implementation.
• Data Modeling Knowledge: Experience with logical and physical data modeling for business intelligence specific information, ensuring data integrity and scalability. This includes designing data architectures, creating data models, and ensuring data quality.
• Performance Optimization Skills: Experience with tuning and transforming business intelligence solutions to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. This involves identifying performance bottlenecks, optimizing system configuration, and implementing best practices for performance improvement.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
