Full Job Description
Join the Humana Team in our Illinois Medicaid Market as a Senior Data and Reporting Professional- Network Optimization. In this role, you will report to the Network Optimization Principal and support Humana's Illinois Medicaid network optimization strategy through data analysis, reporting, and process improvement. You will integrate and analyze data from multiple sources, develop reporting solutions, and help ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of data processes that support business decision-making. Main Responsibilities: • Generate ad hoc reports, recurring datasets, and reporting solutions for business partners. • Integrate data from multiple sources to deliver accurate and applicable insights. • Extract, analyze, and interpret data from reporting tools, and data warehouses. • Develop report specifications based on our requirements and stakeholder needs. • Maintain team documentation, including reporting processes and data flows. • Schedule and monitor automated data processing jobs, troubleshooting issues. • Identify and implement opportunities to improve reporting and data management processes. • Investigate, document, and resolve data quality and reporting issues through root cause analysis. • Apply advanced analytical and technical expertise to solve complex business challenges. • Recommend and implement effective approaches for reporting and data-related projects. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of technical experience in data reporting or in lieu of degree, 5 or more years of technical experience in data reporting • 3 years of experience in data analysis experience within a healthcare organization • 3 years of Advanced proficiency in SQL, SAS and other data systems • 3 years of Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including ability to link pivots to external data sources, creating pivot tables and summarizing data into reports and dashboards • 3 years of Advanced Microsoft PowerBI skills including ability to link to external data sources, pass-through queries, data structure and relationship design. • 1 year of Experience with tools such as Tableau and Qlik for creating data visualizations • Must be available to work between the hours of 8am-5pm Central Standard Time Use your skills to make an impact Preferred Qualifications • Reside within the State of Illinois • Experience data reporting for Medicaid and Medicare based products • Experience in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment • Experience with Microsoft Access Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $73,400 - $100,100 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
