Full Job Description
The Senior Data Analyst, Media Analytics is responsible for delivering actionable insights and analytical support across the PGA TOUR's media business. This position serves as a key contributor in measuring media performance across Domestic and International television, streaming, digital, social, and emerging distribution platforms. The role transforms complex datasets into meaningful business intelligence that informs strategic decision-making, optimizes performance, and supports the growth of the PGA TOUR's media portfolio.
This position partners closely with Media Strategy, Distribution, Digital, Commercial, Research, and Technology teams to develop reporting solutions, identify trends, evaluate performance, and support business initiatives through data-driven analysis. The Senior Data Analyst plays an important role in ensuring data accuracy, reporting consistency, and scalable analytics processes across the media organization.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data science, or related analytical roles.
  • Experience analyzing large datasets and delivering actionable business insights, Experience supporting data warehouse environments and ETL processes preferred
  • Experience developing dashboards, visualizations, and reporting solutions, Experience working with databases and data querying tools such as SQL.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience using analytical and reporting tools including Tableau, Power BI, Amazon QuickSight, or similar platforms. Experience using Python, R, or other analytical programming languages preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience working with television, streaming, digital, social media, or audience measurement data preferred
  • Familiarity with Nielsen, Comscore, YouGov, or similar media measurement platforms preferred
  • Experience with cloud-based analytics and reporting platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver recurring reporting and analysis related to Domestic and International television, streaming, digital, social, and cross-platform media performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and identify trends, opportunities, and risks impacting business objectives.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives, business planning, partner requests, and executive decision-making.
  • Translate complex data into clear, concise insights and recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools that support internal business partners.
  • Create scalable reporting frameworks that improve accessibility, consistency, and usability of data.
  • Ensure reporting output aligns with organizational standards and business requirements.
  • Support the automation of recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Contribute to audience research, competitive benchmarking, and industry analysis.
  • Support evaluation of media consumption trends, fan engagement behaviors, and marketplace developments.
  • Assist in developing insights that inform media rights strategy, distribution planning, content initiatives, and commercial opportunities.
  • Provide analytical support for presentations, business cases, and strategic planning efforts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Media, Commercial, Digital, Research, Finance, and Technology teams.
  • Communicate analytical findings effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for data interpretation and reporting best practices.
