Senior Cyber Program Manager
As a Senior Manager for the Cyber Strategy and Reporting team, you will be immersed in cyber and technology risks, which will allow our cyber organization and partners to pinpoint how cyber risks are connected to other corporate risks, business outcomes, and consequences and ensure business decisions are informed by cyber. You will serve as the Strategy and Reporting Lead for the Cyber AI Transformation, responsible for driving the strategic impact of emerging AI technology. You will develop and coordinate executive-level reporting, conduct strategic analysis and regular partner outreach, and maintain a comprehensive view of key Cyber and Technology risk programs.
You’ll be part of a highly functional team responsible for developing strategy, assessing risk and coordinating reporting to Capital One’s Board of Directors, executive leadership, Cyber and Technology organizations. You will work closely with Cyber practitioners to aid in articulating and driving understanding of the emerging AI technology in key reporting forums. You’ll spend a lot of time drafting copy, slides, talking points and analyzing metrics, in addition to collaborating with peers across the organization to enable experts at the highest levels of our business to effectively articulate cyber strategy and cyber risk to Capital One.

Essential Functions:
Serve as the strategic connection point between the Cyber AI Transformation team and the enterprise, identifying intersection points with imperatives, Cyber service areas and enterprise strategies.
Provide a comprehensive view and streamlined approach to reporting for Cyber AI workstreams, including vetting through appropriate levels and forums, and serving as the front door for reporting from executives and partner organizations.
Develop processes, plans, and timelines to support strategy and executive reporting deliverables.
Apply knowledge of cybersecurity by collaborating with team members and partners across Cyber to develop compelling written, visual, and oral presentations on AI, business, cyber risk, and technical topics for a variety of executive-level audiences.
Prepare executives for participation in enterprise-wide governance committees and forums, including developing talking points and slides.
Compile, organize, and analyze cyber metrics and draft reports that identify trends and provide key insights based on the data
Develop and oversee reports for executive leadership and other internal or external entities on behalf of the Cyber organization
Manage multiple efforts simultaneously and ensure consistency across reporting products and executive forums
Understand the cyber strategy and initiatives and articulate the progress against the strategic goals and objectives
Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders across Capital One from the first, second, and third line organizations
Meet with senior business leaders to understand business challenges and priorities and explore strategic solutions.
Research and stay abreast of current trends in cybersecurity, and maintain a broad awareness of the Enterprise, to develop recommendations grounded in data and a deep understanding of risk.

9+ years of Project Management experience
6+ years of experience managing, consulting, or auditing in the fields of information security or risk management
5+ years of experience developing and managing internal governance processes and procedures
5+ years of stakeholder management experience
4+ years of experience drafting cybersecurity reports or analytic assessments for senior executives
3+ years of experience collecting, analyzing, reporting key insights, and results based analysis for executive-level reports or dashboards
2+ years of experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, Spark SQL, or Alteryx)
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $177,700 - $202,800 for Sr Manager, Project Management
Richmond, VA: $161,500 - $184,300 for Sr Manager, Project Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate27s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
