Position Summary:

Senior Customer Executive contract management customers (CMC/GPO) is responsible for strategic/tactical annual planning of sales within fresh delivery (DSD) and expansion of Frozen portfolio with customer groups. Connects to customers at all levels within the CMC/GPO group. Ensures the profitable revenue growth of assigned CMC and GPO groups. Oversee a high performing team of customer executives. This position is also responsible for the communication of customer plans and results; both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Align sales activities with internal business strategies and objectives: profitability, market analysis, growth, and capacity utilization.
  • Support, lead, train a team of customer executives
  • Manage extensive broker network, supporting activity within frozen and alternative distribution. Develops and implements promotional calendar to fully maximize all trade promotions and maintain competitive advantage
  • Support business units in growth in fresh direct store delivery
  • Develop customer programs that enhance growth
  • Review and maintain customer contracts and trade activity
  • Responsible for pre-and-post analysis of all sales activity to identify and correct missed opportunities.
  • Lead the CMC/GPO team in the RFP/RFI process with assigned groups
  • Maintains and regularly updates analysis of key competitors' activities and their impact on a market-by-market basis.
  • Responsible for annual and semi-annual Top-to-Top presentations for assigned accounts.

Education and Work History:
  • 7 or more years' consumer product account experience.
  • Experience leading salaried associates with team responsibility.
  • Requires excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively negotiate and influence others.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and planning skills.
  • Computer skills and proficiency, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word is required, as well as high proficiency with Data Warehouse, Margin Minder, PROMPT and Synectic's
  • Travel is required, 35%.
