We're hiring for a Full-Time Senior CT Technologist position at Providence Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska!

Shifts Available:

1.0 FTE, Night Shift, 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications:

Under the supervision of the CT Supervisor, Medical Director and Radiology Management Team, the Senior CT Technologist plans, directs and coordinates all technical activities performed in the CT Department. Responsibility for development and implementation of CT protocols to assure lowest possible dose (ALARA), consistent installation of protocols across all equipment to ensure the highest level of image quality. CT protocols are developed with the Medical Director for the division and are reviewed by a physicist to assure that radiation doses do not exceed those recommended by the American College of Radiology (ACR). This is also a float position where the Senior CT Technologist will work with leadership to help cover potential staffing needs in other departments.

  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Coursework/Training: Certified as a CT Technologist.
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography, or
  • Upon hire: National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 2 years of Post CT Certification Experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • 1 year of leadership experience.
