This is a full-time career opportunity that can be hybrid within the Fulton Bank footprint as follows: DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA.
This key role provides advice and counsel on legal matters involving Fulton Financial Corporation and its subsidiaries, specifically including, but not limited to, commercial lending activities.
ResponsibilitiesQualifications Education
Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree. Specialty: From an American Bar Association accredited law school. (Required)
Experience10 or more years Relevant legal as an attorney in a law firm or in-house capacity. Must be a member in good standing of, the bar of at least one jurisdiction where the Corporation or its banking subsidiaries have operations, or the State of New York or the District of Columbia. Must be able to convey thoughts and information verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner. Ability to identify, analyze and provide advice and counsel on complex legal issues, including the ability to make recommendations on significant corporate matters. Ability to understand business needs and desired results and to apply applicable laws and regulations to this business understanding in order to render useful and timely advice to the Corporation so that its business objectives can be achieved in a manner that is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Possess and have the ability to effectively exercise sound legal and business judgment. (Required)
Other Duties as Assigned by ManagerThis role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager. Each employee of the Organization, regardless of position, is accountable for reading, understanding and acting on the contents of all Company-assigned and/or job related Compliance Programs, regulations and policies and procedures, as well as ensure that all Compliance Training assignments are completed by established due dates. This includes but is not limited to, understanding and identifying compliance risks impacting their department(s), ensuring compliance with applicable laws or regulations, and escalating compliance risks to the appropriate level of management.

Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate27s knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.
The salary range for this position is $143,100.00 - $238,500.00 annually.
Additional Compensation Components
This job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units. This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
