Full Job Description

The Senior Corporate Counsel position plays a vital role in overseeing contract negotiations for our organization in the United States and Canada. This position requires a seasoned legal professional with expertise in telecommunications law, contract negotiation, and a good understanding of state and federal regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Negotiation:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex contracts, including vendor agreements, customer contracts, and other business agreements under time constraints and unequal bargaining positions.

Legal Compliance:

  • Ensure that all contracts adhere to applicable laws and regulations in the telecommunications industry.

Risk Mitigation:

  • Identify and assess legal risks associated with business contracts and provide strategic advice to mitigate risks.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and procurement, to understand business needs and align legal strategies with organizational objectives.

Dispute Resolution:

  • Assist in the resolution of contractual disputes, including providing legal analysis, negotiation support, and advising on dispute resolution strategies.

Education & Experience:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of legal experience with a focus on contract negotiation in the telecommunications industry.

Estimated base salary range: $112,800 - $173,600 USD/annually.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.


Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.


The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days. The active posting will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
