Full Job Description
The Impact You Will Make

The role partners closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and Quality to minimize downtime, support compliant operations, and maintain adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), data integrity, and safety requirements.

Shift: 12-hours - 3/3/2 shift rotation

Multiple positions available working either 5 AM - 5 PM or 5 PM - 5 AM

Role Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and modify PLC-based control systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
  • Diagnose issues related to control logic, inputs/outputs (I/O), communication networks, and HMI systems
  • Support multi-axis robotics, VFDs, servo drives, and motor control systems
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot vision systems
  • Perform troubleshooting, calibration, and replacement of sensors and instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level, proximity sensors, photo eyes).
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Support equipment startup, changeovers, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Execute preventive maintenance activities for control systems and instrumentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, standardization, and performance
  • Support equipment upgrades, obsolescence mitigation, and new installations
  • Maintain and document compliance with GMP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and data integrity standards
  • Accurately document work in CMMS, deviations, and change control records
  • Support validation activities, including IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols
  • Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and Quality teams
  • Communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support training of operators and maintenance staff on system basics
  • Perform mechanical troubleshooting and corrective maintenance as needed
  • Escalate complex issues in a timely manner.


Basic Qualifications
  • Associate degree or technical certification in Automation, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or related field; or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 5+years of experience supporting industrial control systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in regulated industries (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or food) preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs


Preferred Qualifications
  • Maintenance experience with cleanrooms in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of PLC hardware and logic troubleshooting.
  • Experience with industrial drives (VFDs, servos) and motor control systems.
  • Strong understanding of industrial sensors and instrumentation (e.g. temperature, pressure flow, level)
  • Familiarity with HMIs industrial communication networks (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Profinet, etc.
  • understanding of electrical theory, including low and high voltage systems.
