Full Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Continuity Specialist to join our team in Harpers Ferry, WV!

As a Senior Continuity Specialist, this position plays a critical role in supporting the customers' COOP and SCIF facilities. This role will be onsite at the client site in Harper's Ferry, WV. Periodic travel may be required to Washington D.C.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Lead and manage COOP, Continuity of Operations, Mission Essential Functions (MEFs), and Essential Supporting Activities (ESAs) to ensure continuity of operations in all environments.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute continuity plans including COOP, Integrated Preparedness Plan (IPP), devolution, and reconstitution planning.
  • Lead the Continuity Test, Training & Exercise (TT&E) program and support designated national events and special security events.
  • Maintain COOP facilities, readiness documentation, equipment inventories, and operational preparedness capabilities.
  • Coordinate continuity requirements across multiple customer organizations and maintain classified and unclassified continuity operations.
  • Install, operate, and support emergency communications systems, secure communications, GETS, and Wireless Priority Service (WPS) testing.
  • Serve as SCIF Site Coordinator supporting access procedures, secure communications, and customer/industry continuity exercises.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of expert experience performing all aspects of continuity of operations (COOP) for a large organization.
  • Experience with emergency communications systems including GETS/WPS and secure communications
  • Hands on experience and knowledge of Mission Essential Functions (MEFs) and Essential Supporting Activities (ESAs) concepts
  • Experience with devolution and reconstitution planning
  • Minimum of 4 years' hands on experience with continuity test, training, and exercise programs in a large organization
  • CBR preparedness knowledge and equipment familiarity
  • Demonstrated experience with SCIF operations and compliance with ICD 705 standards
  • Travel - up to 25%


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preferred to possess 15 years of experience performing all continuity of operations (COOP) for a large organization.
  • Possess one or more of the following certifications: Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Specialist (CBCS)


Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have a current/active TS / SCI.


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
