Requirements:
  • Active Top Secret SCI clearance with CI Poly required.
  • Position is located in Northern Virginia. Ability to occasionally travel to locations such as St Louis, Maryland, Denver, and other CONUS locations.
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders. Experience in delivering technical presentations and leading discovery and planning sessions with customers with defined scope and success criteria.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and technical sales skills. Ability to successfully multi-task across both pre-sales and post-sales responsibilities.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

Consulting Systems Engineer - National Programs Group

What will you be doing?

As a member of the National Program Group Engineering Team, you will support both pre-sales and post-sales opportunities for a variety of high-profile mission programs. The ability to multi-task successfully between both pre-sales and post-sales responsibilities will be critical.

As a pre-sales Consulting Systems Engineer (CSE), you will be working with multiple account teams across the Intelligence Community, as well as with other programs across the DoD and Public Sector Teams. Our NPG Customers are essential to the overall mission of the IC, WWT is providing mission-aligned technical solutions to ensure those customers are leveraging the right solutions to solve their technology challenges. As a CSE, you will leverage your knowledge of the client and work as a team with other world-class engineers and sales professions to develop and deliver strategic and innovative architectures and solutions that scale to support the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide workshops and support demonstrations to customers in support of account team opportunities
  • Ensures that proposed solutions, when implemented, meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer
  • Coordinate solution development leveraging best practices and researching customized solutions
  • Develop and foster relationships with strategic original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and key partners.
  • Work with cloud providers to engineer solutions to best satisfy customer needs & requirements
  • Champion the individual components of the service provider design though the ICD-503 process to include supporting the development of required documentation and participating in control gates
  • Support customer outreach and migrations from legacy to new service provider infrastructure
  • Work with pre-sales team to establish and deploy solutions to meet changing customer needs and demands; Support the business case development of new services to supply leadership with profitability and TCO analysis
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate advanced enterprise solutions across multiple sub-contractors, OEMs and partners
  • Develop documentation as required to operationalize new or updated capabilities
  • Work with customers to identify, deploy and productize new services to the service provider baseline to include but not limited to: VDI, collaboration, hybrid cloud, multi cloud and on prem solutions
  • Support the design, development, test, and deployment of service provider networks and infrastructure (hardware and software)
