How You'll Contribute

As Senior Construction Superintendent you will provide strategic leadership for complex construction projects, ensuring high standards of performance across all project activities. This role includes planning, scheduling, and coordinating all construction phases, while mentoring project teams to achieve on-time, on-budget project delivery.

  • Lead and oversee all construction activities for large-scale projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with project owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractor performance, including monitoring work progress, quality, and safety compliance, and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and walkthroughs to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues or risks, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Enforce project safety policies and procedures, conduct safety meetings, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other safety requirements.
  • Manage project schedules and timelines, including coordinating work sequences, tracking progress, and updating project schedules as needed.
  • Resolve construction-related issues and conflicts that arise during the project and collaborate with project stakeholders to develop and implement solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and as-built drawings, and ensure that all project records are properly organized and maintained.
  • Coordinate with project owners, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address project needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site construction teams and foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; OR equivalent relevant experience. 7+ years of experience in construction project management or related roles, with a focus on complex and large-scale projects with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction principles, practices, and techniques, including building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Experience in managing and organizing multiple, complex data center projects.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate and boost morale of project teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Procore project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze situations, identify solutions, and implement action plans.
  • Attention to detail, quality and accuracy in completing tasks and managing project documentation.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License in good standing.
