Senior Construction Manager
Location: Delray Beach, FL

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our Construction Management team for a major capital improvement project in Delray Beach, Florida. This is an onsite role serving as the Owner's Representative, providing leadership and oversight throughout construction to ensure the project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget.
The Senior Construction Manager will act as the primary onsite liaison between the Owner, design team, contractor, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders. This individual will oversee construction progress, administer the construction contract, proactively resolve project issues, and provide strategic leadership throughout the duration of the project.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the Owner's onsite representative throughout all phases of construction.
  • Provide overall construction management leadership while protecting the Owner's interests.
  • Monitor contractor performance for compliance with contract documents, project specifications, schedule, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Review contractor schedules, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies to maintain project milestones.
  • Evaluate and process Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, change orders, pay applications, and claims.
  • Coordinate closely with the Owner, Architect/Engineer, contractor, utility providers, and permitting agencies to facilitate timely project delivery.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Construction management experience with increasing responsibility on large commercial, municipal, institutional, or public infrastructure projects.
  • Experience serving as an Owner's Representative, Construction Manager, or Program Manager on complex capital projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction contract administration, scheduling, cost management, quality assurance, and project controls.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing contractor schedules, change orders, pay applications, RFIs, and construction documentation.
  • Working knowledge of construction delivery methods.
  • Familiarity with applicable building codes, permitting processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and construction industry best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
