At DaVita, we are seeking aSenior Compliance Manager to lead the strategy, implementation, and strengthening of the Compliance Program for Colombia and Panama.

This position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable local and international regulations, promoting a culture of integrity and transparency, identifying compliance risks, and serving as a strategic partner to senior management in decision-making related to business ethics, anti-corruption, and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and evolution of the Compliance Program in Colombia and Panama.
  • Maintain continuous awareness of local anti-corruption law and regulations, helping the business to stay compliant.
  • Advise senior management on the identification, assessment, and mitigation of compliance risks.
  • Manage the third-party due diligence process; review and approve business courtesies, corporate contributions, and other transactions of interest. • Conduct internal investigations and action plans resulting from compliance findings.
  • Conduct risk assessments and prepare and execute mitigation actions.
  • Actively participate in International Compliance Team activities, including collaborating on global compliance initiatives and creating/delivering presentations to the wider international team.
  • Lead training activities and efforts to strengthen the organization’s ethical culture.
  • Conduct monitoring, auditing, and assurance activities for the compliance program.
  • Lead compliance processes in mergers, acquisitions, and new business initiatives, including conducting integration of any new clinics.
  • Oversee all aspects of compliance program documentation, including the periodic updating of policies and procedures.
  • Prepare executive reports and key performance indicators for local and international management teams.
  • Manage the Compliance department’s budget.
  • Manage a small team (2) of compliance professionals.

Requirements

Education

  • Law degree holder with a valid professional license.
  • Candidates with degrees in administrative or related fields who have experience in compliance and anti-corruption processes will also be considered.

Experience

• At least 8 years of experience in positions related to corporate compliance.

• Experience with compliance, business ethics, and anti-corruption programs.

• Experience with internal investigations, due diligence, and risk management.

• Experience with multinational companies and/or the healthcare sector is preferred.

Technical Knowledge

• FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act).

•Compliance management systems.

• Anti-corruption and anti-bribery programs.

• Corporate risk management.

• Due diligence.

• Corporate governance.

• Advanced Microsoft Office.

Language

• Advanced English (spoken and written).

Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
