Job Description

The Senior Communications Manager, Information Security and Technology, will play a critical role in protecting P&G's assets and reputation by leading and executing comprehensive communication strategies across various information security and technology domains. This role requires a blend of executive communications, crisis communication expertise, internal and external stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, consistent, and compelling messages. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering impactful communications that drive employee awareness, build brand trust, and support organizational objectives.

Job Responsibilities

1. Crisis/Incident Response Communications:
  • Lead InfoSec incident response communications, developing robust strategies and messaging to protect P&G's assets and reputation.
  • Maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity incident readiness toolkit, outlining approved crisis response steps to ensure fast resolution of incidents and minimize adverse stakeholder implications, external visibility, and risks associated with cybersecurity incidents.


2. Information Security Communications:
  • Develop and execute communication strategies to drive clarity, consistency, and pride in how Information Security delivers value and delights internal customers.
  • Create Information Security communication materials for both internal and external audiences, including the execution of town hall meetings.
  • Provide ongoing training and counsel to leaders and initiative owners on best communication practices.
  • Identify and leverage broad-reaching storytelling opportunities to elevate the critical work of the Information Security organization and its contribution to P&G's success.


3. Support the Information Security Strategy Communications and Training & Awareness Program:
  • Support the Information Security communications strategy with a key focus on the Training & Awareness pillar.
  • Consult with the Training & Awareness team on internal messaging and materials to empower employees to proactively safeguard against digital, data, network, and online threats.


4. Information Security Executive Communications:
  • Identify and support select internal and external speaking commitments for the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).


5. Information Technology Communications:
  • Support internal and external communication efforts across various Information Technology pillars.
  • Develop Information Technology employee communications and message tracks, including town hall materials and employee engagements.
  • Provide communications counsel to IT leaders, offering guidance on LinkedIn and external speaking opportunities.
  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of internal IT channels.
  • Assist with sourcing and maintaining best in class use cases across IT pillars.


Job Qualifications

Required
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience leading internal and external communication strategies
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or relevant field.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive internal and external communication strategies.
  • Proven experience supporting C-suite leaders in internal and external executive communications.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and leading crisis communications.
  • Experienced in working closely with leadership and technical experts to translate complex information into understandable messages.
  • Track record of successfully managing stakeholder relationships and building trust.
  • Previous communications experience in the information technology and/or information security field is desired.
